We can see a huge surge in microtransactions when it comes to competitive titles like Fortnite and PUBG. But CSGO skins takes this competition to a whole new level, with some of the in-game content selling for as much as a luxurious sports car!
When it comes to Counter-Strike, skins have always been the most intriguing aspect of the game for most of the players. Sure, they look nice and they help you improve your game skills somewhat, but are these skins really worth buying in 2021? Here is what I think:
Why buy Skins in the First Place?
When it comes to determining if a skin is worth it or not, there are several factors to consider. You have to ask yourself this question first, “Do you really want to spend your hard earned cash on some flashy pixels in the game? Or do you want to buy these skins with the intention of subsequently selling them for a profit later?
So, if you have some spare cash and just want to have more fun in the game or brag about it with your friends, get yourself a flashy skin, who cares, right? You can always cash it out later; just make sure you do so on a secure website like Eldorado, if you’re frequently cashing out your items.
But if you are diving into this skin market to make a good profit out if it, following the laws of “buying low and selling highâ€, well you have to get yourself familiar with the market prices, and sometimes the best way to get a decent profit on skins is to buy them from a trusted trading website for a considerably cheap price and selling the items in the game when the demand is high!
There’s no Reason not to
If we go back in time, we can find some of the popular skins available for as cheap as 3-5 bucks, these skins are now worth more than 30-40 dollars! Which is just amazing for an in-game item. So, until the game completely dies off in a few months or years, I don’t see any reason why you should not buy skins, be it for the purpose of making profit, as the market keeps getting better or for the purpose of having fun in the game!
Some of the players have been wondering if Valorant would put an end to CSGO but personally I don’t think CSGO is getting out of the market anytime soon. So, if you are still confused about whether or not you should spend your cash on these skins, just open up steam and take a look at how these skins are getting more and more expensive. But then again, don’t take this as financial advice but more of reasons why you should buy CSGO skins.
